Trim Jigs

• Trim jigs are made to be on a router table with a top bearing flush cut bit. The bit we have used with much success is the Amana tool flush trim bit 47105, with Amana tool 47701 bearing, and Amana tool 47724 retaining collar. This puts bearings on both ends of the bit which increases safety. 
• Take care to always move the workpiece against the rotation of the bit and to keep hands and fingers clear. 
• Provided magnets help to hold the kydex in place but it can still move slightly, take care to hold kydex in place while trimming. 
• The magnets used with the trim jigs are very strong, handle them responsibly to prevent hurting yourself or damaging any other devices.
• Cut kydex to within ¼” of the trim jig edges before routering, this will help prevent any kickback or vibrations in the cut.
